    ... "cultivation" ?

With a warming planet, I do wonder whether there will be an urgent need for more humans that interact with ecosystems to support their flourishing, an activity that I guess I can call "gardening" ?

I dug a little on GapMinder, and they seem to site the principle of diminishing marginal utility.

Request: Can I subscribe to your web-log?

      gabkdlly • 10 January, 2025

I don't generally read ( at least, on a regular basis ) essays online.

I do like to read a few shit-posts to start my day.

Do you have a feed you would like me to follow?

ATOM and RSS feeds are supported in my feed reader ( Nextcloud ).

How are we going to pay for THING ?

      gabkdlly • 10 January, 2025

Even using the word "pay", connotes that money will be the answer.

One feature of moneyed systems: Its citizens never seem to have enough of it.

And also: Once your basic needs are met, more money does no longer correlates with more happiness. ( I thought I originally read about this finding on gapminder.org , but I can't seem to find the particular statistic now. )

Indeed: I feel happier when I attend to the things at hand, rather than try to fatten way the fuck up for a winter fast that has been engineered out of the realm of probability.

i prefer the term: shit post.

We are born. We sense our surroundings. There are the others, and there is the I. There is pleasure, and it becomes a guide to our way. We learn to say "No!", and we deal with its effects. Our body, and our minds, grow into our surroundings like plants, and each day consciousness comes in waves. As we grow, we also age, maturing into who we really are. We attach and detach, the others who nourish us, and we them. Our skill at enjoying what is continues to improve, until the time comes to say "Goodbye!" And, we are never alone.

Poll that don't allow for an answer of "Other" ...

      gabkdlly • 8 January, 2025

    ... seem rather broken.

Part of me, hears the message: The reality that I am encoding here only allows for these limited possibilities.

This message is ( of course ) also a resource.

to show the love that is our's to give.
